This blog shows my collection of postcards from around the world. It's viewing the world through postcards.

It is always a pleasure to receive a postcard from my friend Chitra from Ethiopia. Ethiopia is full of history and relics of the past and I wouldn't mind visiting there some day.
Lalibela is a Unesco World Heritage site famous for it's 13 rock hewn churches like the one featured in the card. The ruler King Lalibela in the late 12th century attempted to build a replica of Jerusalem in response to the capture of old Jerusalem by the Muslims in 1187. So amazing isn't it?
