Nongak Dancers
This postcard shows Nongak dancers with their twirling head pieces. Nongak means farmers music. it has its roots in shamanistic harvest rituals that gave thanks for beautiful harvests. The headpieces are called sangmo and have long pieces of ribbons attached to them.
