I received this postcard from my penpal Karola who visited Finland sometime in August.  The card says that in the olden days distances were measured with reindeers need to pee. Reindeers are typical in Finland and also Sweden.

A mapcard of Finland also known as Suomi.  It also shows all the wonderful  scenery of the country.

This building is a local spa found in the town of Ikaalinen.  You know how the Finnish love spas especially the saunas.

The second card from Sari shows a summer scene of flowers.  She says that in summer it is really green and clean and the silence is amazing.  Such a vast difference between the two cards.

 I received two contrasting cards from Sari.  One card shows Finland in winter.  She tells me that it snows alot in Finland and that this winter was especially bad but she is awaiting spring.  Well it's finally here Sari!
