Flamborough

This card is from Nigel form East Yorkshire.  It shows you a Jurassic coastline with chalk cliffs and  a lighthouse overlooking the North Sea.

Nugget Point Lighthouse

The lighhthouse was uilt in 1870 and fueled by oil.  In 1949 the oil lamp was replaced with electricity.  What a remarkable view. I still can't figure out who sent me this postcard.

Tillamook Rock Lighthouse

This lighthouse is no privately owned and it stands on Tillamook Rock in the Pacific Ocean offshore from Tillamook Head.

Heceta Head Lighthouse

Two lighthouse postcards from Margaret .  This first one shows The Heceta Head  Lighthouse one of the most visited lighthouses along the Oregon coast.  I love the shape of this card it is shaped like the state of Oregon.
