Serbia

The Parliament Buildinf of Belgrade.  It was built in the 1880's as a royal residence.  It was heavily damaged in World War one and two so its architecture today is different from when it was first built.  Thanks Jelena for the cards and that bit of history.

Serbia

The first of two postcards received from Jelena out of Serbia.  It shows Skadarlija a Bohemian street .  Jelena writes that even to this day it has that spirit of old times in its restaurants. It looks like it was in the 19th century.  It still has cobblestones and its a must see place for visitors.
