Iguassu Falls

My last post for the night and it is from Brazil. I think after this I might go to the cinema, there are some new movies playing tonight.

Iguassu Falls are waterfalls of the Iguassu River on the border of the Brazilian state of Parana and the Argentine Province of Misiones. It divides Brazil from Argentina.

This postcard was sent to me by Luciano.  It shows carnival in Rio de Janeiro which is the capital city of Brazil.  Carnival is usually before the Lent season and usually involves lots of partying and bright colourful costumes.

Ipanema Beach

Ipanema beach is a popular beach located in Rio de Janeiro.  In the distance you can see  the two mountains called the Two Brothers.

Priscila tells me that these ar the most well known places in the city.  Rio Janeiro is a mixture of nature and big city life.  Thanks very much Priscila for my first Brazilian card.
