Aisha bibi Mausoleun

This  card is from Toroz which is an ancient town in Southern Kazakhstan and in 2001 celebrated 2000 years and was made a Unesco World Heritage Site.  The Mausoleum was built for Aisha bibi the lady who was bitten by a poisonous snake the day before her wedding.

How very tragic!

Thanks Oxana!
