Atacama Desert
The Atacama Desert is found in Chile. Towards the ending of winter in the Southern Hemisphere after heavy rainfall excess water tranforms the normally dry, arid landscape into a spring garden bringing to life the millions of seeds, bulbs and insects that lie beneath the surface of the desert
Thanks to Hernan a fellow postcard blogger for this postcard.

Tree of Life, Bahrain
Well another week of posting and I'm glad to start off with a card from the Kingdom of Bahrain. It shows the tree of life which is the oldest solitary tree. It is a mesquite tree 400 years old and 32 feet high. It stands lonely in the heart of the dessert the local inhabitants believe that it marks the location of the Garden of Eden.
Thanks very much Mr. Saleh for quite a remarkable postcard!
